What an awesome tribute for someone who wants total street performance. Nothin’ hokey about that.

...these are a few of my favorite things.

Yeah, I love it. It’s a great reference to the Safari Rally Zs without being a full-on replica.

The paint makes me think there was an engine fire so the owner said fuck it and dumped all his money in an insane engine swap. I approve.

I just came...
Matter of fact I came once around the middle bit and then once more at the end.
I checked the prices of those old Skyline GTRs and damn they are very eye-wateringly expensive.

Excellent GT-Rs

Yeah, I’ve pretty much given up on the possibility of every owning a Hakosuka or Kenmeri. At least first gen Celicas are still somewhat attainable... for now.
Alternatively, you find something old and cool that isn’t super popular, buy it for cheap, and then import it. Third and fourth gen Nissan Cedric/Glorias are awesome and still pretty damn cheap.

I love me some fender mirrors. Oh yes I do.

Fender mirrors make everything better.

Girlfriend doesn’t want me to import a Century in a few years for some reason but all I see is fender mirrors.

Fender mirrors > relationships

Not this one haha. Im pretty good at convincing her eventually. She’s said yes so far to getting in the future a lizard, mark 2 corona, ‘84 supra, fj45, built gx470, restoring my LS400, and hopefully to marrying me when I propose here soon.

That Corona better have fender mirrors.

I'd probably move them.

Yup, huuuuge visibility issues there.

They are amazing too, also I think non GTR Skylines of that vintage are not as expensive either.
I’ve given up on those and on the 930 911s, maybe someday we can cry together over the newer, more modern versions of the cars we love and had to settle for.
I think I’ll settle for a 997.2

I’m looking around at imported non-GTR Hakosukas and they’re still like $50k+. This classic car bubble needs to pop.

I think there will be some recession after the US elections, so prices will come down a bit then.
At some point things will get calmer when something else gets popular as well.

Manufacturer name, hyphen, number.
Why no one ever thought of using that nomenclature is beyond me.
Viper-33 is shorter and better than “the no. 33 Viper...”.

Manufacturer name - racing class
The Toyota 7 was named after the Group 7 rules it was built to, so it kinda has been done before. Like the Ford GT40 early on when it was just called the GT.

Oh.
Still, it’d be nocer to just say Konrad-28.
